Location. Park Inn Hotel Stockholm Arlanda is a modern three-floor hotel, situated 10 kilometres from the attractions of the historic town of Sigtuna. Stockholm Arlanda International Airport is four kilometres from the hotel, and takes around 10 minutes to reach by car.
Hotel Features. The hotel provides a complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport, and the fitness centre includes a sauna. Staff at the 24-hour front desk can assist with currency exchange and room service requests, and lock valuables in the hotel safe, as well as offer tour assistance. Complimentary parking is available for those arriving by car.
Guests can dine at the Park Inn Restaurant, which serves a variety of Swedish dishes including vegetarian, children's and low-fat meals, and opens for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Park Inn Bar Bistro is a lobby bar furnished in a colourful, contemporary style with low-level lighting and a relaxed atmosphere. Soft and alcoholic drinks as well as a choice of light Swedish snacks are served here.
Guestrooms. The 97 guestrooms are located on three floors, and all feature simple modern decor with light wood furnishings. Amenities include cable television, telephones with voicemail, and complimentary wireless Internet.
Expert Tip. The historic town of Sigtuna, 10 kilometres from the hotel, was the country's first capital and is still an important religious hub today. The main street is called Stora Gatan and dates back to the middle ages. Nowadays the road is lined with brightly-coloured 19th Century timber houses, shops and picturesque cafés. The local museum situated at number 55 exhibits finds from digs carried out on Viking and medieval sites.

Getting there. The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport. The airport has three railway stations: one for long-distance destinations and two for frequent express trains to Stockholm. Taxis run from directly outside the terminals and fares to the hotel cost around 155 SEK. When taking a taxi, passengers should speak to a taxi coordinator, found outside the terminal building. There are also bus stations outside terminals 2, 4 and 5.
Driving directions. From the airport, follow the W4 and exit at Sigtuna/Marsta. Head for the traffic lights and turn right. The hotel is situated around 600 metres further on the right.
