The Scandic Bergen City is a modern, eight storey hotel in the town centre, situated five blocks from Bryggen Wharf and one kilometre from the aquarium. This hotel features 252 bright, modern guestrooms, all of which include air conditioning, satellite TV with pay movies, wireless Internet access, hair dryers and minibars. Bathrooms come with tubs or showers.
Guests can make use of the Nautilus gym just across the street from the hotel, where facilities include a large indoor swimming pool, and residents are offered a special discounted rate. Meals are served in the ground floor restaurant, or guests can relax with a drink in the bar watching the world go by. Children will be kept amused in the playroom where a range of activities are organised during the summer. Business guests benefit from access to a large conference centre able to accommodate up to 600 people; there are also 15 meeting rooms with audio-visual equipment, and a banquet hall with a capacity of 500. Onsite car parking is available (surcharge applies). Many of Bergen's top attractions are within walking distance of the hotel including the Bryggen Wharf, fish market and aquarium, all within one kilometre. There is a 13-screen cinema complex next door. Bergen Flesland Airport is 13 kilometres away with an approximate driving time of 25 minutes.

The best way to get from the airport is by the frequent bus service which leaves from outside the terminal; it costs NOK 70 one way to the city. Taxis wait outside the airport and cost around NOK 300 to the hotel. Bergen is best explored on foot or using local bus services.
Driving directions: From the airport follow the E30 all the way to Bergen centre.
