Location. Located on the Sliema Promenade, 50 metres from the beach and five kilometres from the Maltese capital of Valetta, the Diplomat Hotel lies 10 kilometres (25 minutes' drive) from Malta International Airport (MLA).
Hotel Features. The hotel's rooftop swimming pool is surrounded by sun-loungers and overlooks the Mediterranean Sea. The fitness centre is open daily and offers gym equipment and a sauna. Getting there. There is a full fixed fare taxi service to all areas of Malta. A taxi booth is located in the Welcomers' Hall where pre-paid tickets may be purchased. A trip to the hotel costs about EUR 20.
Driving directions. From the airport drive towards Marsa, in the direction of St Julians. Once on this road, exit at the third tunnel and turn left to St Julian's Bay, then left towards Sliema seafront for a kilometre.
