Location. This modern hotel is situated one kilometre from the beach and 1.5 kilometres from Hammamet Medina, surrounded by ancient ramparts and a fortress. Tunis Carthage Airport (TUN) is 70 kilometres away, and takes around 60 minutes to reach by car.
Hotel Features.Guests can start the day with the hotel's breakfast buffet, and a free shuttle bus operates between the hotel and the beach, one kilometre away. Complimentary parking is available for guests arriving by car, and other practical amenities include a 24-hour front desk, air-conditioned public areas and onsite shopping.
Dining options include Hotel Emira Restaurant, a buffet restaurant serving a choice of local and international dishes, and the Snack Bar where guests can enjoy pizzas and sandwiches. Barbecued food is also available during summer months.
The hotel runs a kids' club, and guests of all ages can enjoy a programme of daily and evening entertainment.
Guestrooms. There are 130 air-conditioned guestrooms are located on two floors. All extend to balconies or terraces and include telephones, mini fridges (on request) and bathrooms. The half-board room rate incorporates buffet breakfast and dinner each day.
Expert Tip. Hammamet is known as the 'garden resort' because it is surrounded by olive, orange and lemon groves and lines of cypress trees. The city centre is a miniature cape jutting out into the sea, and the well-preserved 13th-century Kasbah offers impressive views over the gleaming domes of the Medina (the old walled city), and the white sands of the coastline.

Getting there.SNT and TUT buses depart Carthage Airport every 15-30 minutes for Tunis centre. The single fare is 1 TND. Taxis are available outside the terminal, and fares double after 9 PM. All prices subject to change. Trains to Tunis, Sousse and El Djem leave several times a day from Bir Bou Regba station. Taxis are cheap and plentiful, and a Noddy train runs around the resort.
