Situated on the east coast of the island in a 150- hectare nature reserve, the idyllic Belle Mare Plage is a golf resort set by two kilometres of sandy white beach. The 256 guestrooms complement the island surroundings with natural-toned decor, dark-wood furnishings and marble floors, and all open onto balconies or terraces with sea views. All are equipped with satellite television, direct-dial phones, minibars, safes, and hair dryers, and bathrooms include telephones, bathrobes and slippers.
Golfers can play a round or two on the hotel's two 18-hole championship golf courses, enjoy a post-match drink in the two clubhouses and indulge in a special golfer's massage in the spa. A wide range of beauty treatments, including reflexology, Shiatsu massage and facials, are available at the Body Harmony spa. Nearby attractions include the waterpark, five kilometres away, and the L'Ile aux Cerfs, a leisure island offering beaches and watersports, which is 10 kilometres from the hotel and can be reached by ferry from the mainland.
