The Hotel Beau Rivage comprises thatched villas in lush gardens on white sandy beach overlooking blue lagoon on east of Mauritius. The 174 guestrooms are spread over two floors and have tropical blue and yellow decor with balconies overlooking the sea. All are equipped with climate control, ceiling fans, minibars and coffee/teamakers. They also feature satellite television, direct-dial phones with voicemail and Internet connections and bathrooms with complimentary toiletries, bathrobes, slippers, and hair dryers.
The hotel offers an idyllic setting in lush tropical gardens with a 2,000 square metre swimming pool (including a kids' pool) overlooking a white sandy beach and a beautiful blue lagoon. Guests can take advantage of the onsite Spa Aphrodite which offers a jetted tub, cold plunge swimming pool, high-tech gym, sauna and Turkish bath. The Spa also features a hydrotherapy room, two massage treatment rooms, beauty treatment room and hairdressing saloon. The Little Mermaid kid's club has three qualified hostesses to entertain youngsters, a babysitting service is also available as well as a teenager's club. The Rive Gauche Restaurant offers Mauritian, French, Chinese, Indian and International cuisine while La Mediterranee Restaurant is set on a Mediterranean-style terrace on the beach serving salads, pasta and pizza from a wood burning stove. The Indouchine Restaurant features Brazilian rosewood flooring and Persian rugs and serves French and Asian fusion food by candlelight and Le Langoustier Restaurant offers splendid sea views and serves seafood. The Club Savanne Bar has an African theme with jazz music while the Monsoon Lounge & Bar is by the swimming pool with sea views and serves light meals and cocktails as well as high tea with scones and Indian sweetmeats. L'Aventure du Sucre, museum tracing the history of sugar production on the island, is 20 kilometres from the hotel and the excellent shopping of Grand Baie is 25 kilometres away. Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport is 75 kilometres from the hotel, an approximate driving time of 60 minutes.
