Set on the Ras Om el Seid cliffs overlooking the sea, the Solymar Sharming Inn is a modern three-storey property, located 300 metres from a private beach and two kilometres from the city centre. Sharm El Sheikh International Airport is situated 25 kilometres away, approximately 20 minutes by car.
Hotel Features. The hotel has two freshwater swimming pools, a fitness room and a private beach with a bar area, and guests can exercise on the tennis, volleyball and handball courts. Water sports offered include snorkelling and scuba diving and there are table tennis facilities, a playground, a games room and a billiards table. For children a supervised mini-club is in operation for 4-12 year olds, and the entertainment team organises daily activities and evening entertainment. Free parking is available and there is also a multilingual concierge service.
The Solymar Sharming Inn offers a number of dining options: the main restaurant is a modern, informal eatery serving international food from an extensive buffet including Italian, Oriental and barbecue dishes; the Fountain Bar and Pizzeria is an elegant, romantic restaurant extending to a terrace with a fountain and serves Italian dishes; and the informal Lobby Bar offers a range of snacks and drinks throughout the day. The open-air Pool Bar also offers light refreshments, soft drinks and cocktails.
Guestrooms. The 253 guestrooms, over three floors, feature modern decor in neutral tones with patterned fabrics. All include air conditioning, dial-up Internet connections, satellite television, direct-dial phones and minibars.

Getting there. The easiest way to reach the hotel from the airport is by taxi, costing approximately 90 LE. The easiest way to get around the city is by taxi. It is advisable to hail a taxi from a recognised stand or ask the hotel to organise one and suggest a price.
Driving directions.From the airport take the El Salam Road through Naama Bay and continue through the U-turn behind the Delta Sharm Resort onto El Tower Street. Take the second right onto El Fanar Street and continue for one kilometre. The hotel is on the left-hand side.
