The hotel's private sandy beach is ideal for swimming and snorkelling. Guests can also cool off in the outdoor swimming pool, or soak up the sun with a snack and cocktail from the poolside or beach bars. For the more active, the hotel gymnasium has professional instructors on hand to help plan invigorating exercise programmes. There are also two sauna rooms, and massage treatments are available. Grilled fish dishes are served at lunch and dinner in the beach restaurant, while buffet meals are available in the Coral Café. La Gondola is an Italian restaurant offering views over the Red Sea, which hosts speciality evenings, including seafood nights on Sundays, and features live Italian music. Hurghada is famous for its scuba diving, tropical fish, coral reefs and water sports. The hotel has its own professional scuba diving centre catering for everyone from novices to experts, as well as two clay tennis courts, a squash court, beach volleyball, and a water-sports centre. The concierge can assist with local information and arrange excursions including desert safaris by four-wheel drive or motorbike, and balloon rides. Hurghada International Airport is 15 minutes by car, ten kilometres from the hotel.
